From 3 to 5 of December,  European Space Solutions, a major 3-day event will bring together public and private stakeholders to explore how space can make a real difference to the lives of people across Europe. The GNSS team will be showcasing the EGNOS SDK.

Konstanz, 28 November 2012: DKE Aerospace presents its findings of the latest EGNOS SDK developments since the last 2 years in a one day SatNav business application conference in Konstanz, Germany. The presentation focuses on the possible technical evolution of smartphones using EGNOS SDK. GNSS business segments like LBS and Traffic are predicted to taking more than 97% of the end-user devices markets in the next decade.

Brussels, 2 October 2012: Workshop took place for EGNOS for the Maritime and Inland Waterways sectors organized by EC – DG Enterprise and Industry. DKE Aerospace and others have presented findings of their work of the study on EGNOS potential in Maritime and Inland Waterways transport sectors during a one-day event in Brussels. Some insights on tangible advantages that EGNOS technology can bring to these industries, as well as the latest results of in-the-field tests on EGNOS performance  were presented. The event represented a unique opportunity for the audience to discover the project’s technical results, while taking advantage of this worthy networking occasion. (see Programme)

Brussels, 10 July 2012: New EGNOS SDK with high level functionalities for application developers; (Read more) the European Commission has launched an enhanced version of the EGNOS SDK with new attractive features to allow application developers to take advantage of the benefits of EGNOS, and to use these in any application they develop for mobile devices. VVA together with DKE AEROSPACE is working since 2011 to support the European Commission – DG ENTR - in developing the EGNOS Software Development Kit (SDK) and fostering the use of EGNOS in location-based services (LBS) applications for smartphones.
